Heat is a problem with LEDs.  You've heard they are cool, but that means their light has no heat.  However, junction heat reduces their light output and life.  Watt for Watt, LEDs produce as much heat as an incandescent bulb.  A bulb is actually cooler because it can radiate heat as IR energy, an LED cannot.

Most outdoor luminaires are protected from ordinary weather, but have you ever seen an HID fixture that is clean inside the bulb chamber?       Certainly not.

HID fixtures breathe because of the extreme temperatures during operation.  This brings dirt of all kinds right into the luminaire where it remains, resting on the lens until emptied during maintenance.

The IntenCity luminaire produces very little heat inside the lighting unit and has gasket-sealed lenses, ensuring that dirt or even water from pressure cleaning can never intrude.

Mounting is a Breeze

How awkward is a conventional luminaire during that installation?
There is nothing conventional about IntenCity luminaires.

The IntenCity mounting system goes inside the mounting pipe.  Feed the wires directly into the wiring guide, slip the insert right into the pipe.  Tighten the expander with a single knob, and no matter the size of pipe, the coating or the angle, the IntenCity is always secure.

The luminaire fitting closes the pipe opening, of whatever size, to keep out those dreaded little varmints.  The wiring connections are inside the main compartment, clean and dry, and entirely isolated from the light source.
