Indoor garage and area lighting with IntenCity-1 means daytime color purity and no bulbs to flicker and burn out. IntenCity-1 is designed to address numerous light shaping applications with only a few basic models.
The IntenCity luminaire has two independent light emitting 'wings' that may each provide identical patterns, or, may be equipped with different emission patterns as a Hybrid, making a versatile new tool for light shaping applications.
IntenCity's crisp clear color rendering ability comes from its 3,900K CCT warm-white output that compares directly with Metal Halide and Fluorescent lighting.

Unique Requirements
That hot spot beneath conventional luminaires wastes too much energy, while vertical illumination criteria requires more light at higher places.
Upward cutoff criteria now makes outdoor fixtures impractical for indoor lighting because garages necessarily require more light at higher places.
Most visual tasks occur in areas well above the floor, and we must see vertical surfaces for navigation and signage that may be 5 or 6 feet high.
Vertical surface illumination and the need to light critical task areas above the floor not only makes sense, it's suggested by the
NPA (National Parking Association) and the IESNA RP20 Standard.
The lighting designer will soon be aware that garage vertical footcandle requirements will send light into neighboring parking slots, the design challenge is a 3-D lighting system and not a single luminaire.
For visual comfort and ambience, and to reduce the cave-like appearance caused by a dark ceiling, IntenCity GLS garage luminaires also provide uplight for ceiling illumination.

Values are maintained illumination that includes ceiling reflection factor of 80%, wall reflection factor of 50% and floor reflection of 20%.
Examples are with 4-IntenCity luminaires in a single row configuration enclosed parking area of the dimensions shown.
